Itching to get out on the water this summer? There are still spots available for our paddle boarding program at Lake Sammamish, beginning August 15th! Open to participants ages 16 and up, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill or build confidence in one of your favorite summer activities. 🌊

Big things come in small containers! 🙌

We're excited to share that we now have a 10-foot storage container at Sail Sand Point in Magnuson Park! Located right next to our kayak racks, this new addition will make accessing our adaptive water sports equipment faster and more efficient for both participants and volunteers.

During peak paddling season, the container will store paddles, PFDs, and adaptive equipment, helping us spend less time unloading gear and more time out on the water creating unforgettable experiences. 🌊🚣

This month, we celebrate the disability community, the diversity of lived experiences, and the importance of creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to participate, belong, and thrive. At Outdoors for All, we see every day how adaptive recreation opens doors to adventure, connection, confidence, and community. Whether it's kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, or trying something new for the first time, everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the outdoors in a way that works for them.

Disability Pride Month is a reminder that accessibility matters-not just in recreation, but in every aspect of our communities. We're proud to work alongside participants, volunteers, partners, and advocates who continue to make the outdoors more welcoming and accessible for all.

This July, we celebrate disability pride, recognize the importance of representation and inclusion, and reaffirm our commitment to expanding access to outdoor recreation so more people can experience the joy of being outside.
