We love seeing a project come to completion! KEG's Structures Team was responsible for design and plan development for the replacement of this bridge carrying Troy O’Fallon Road over Mill Creek in Madison County, Illinois.

This project involved removing the existing 3-span bridge to construct a new single-span replacement bridge. KEG prepared detailed plans, special provisions, and cost estimates for the structural replacement. CHEERS to our Structures Team for doing important work for Madison County!

Our team provided engineering services for roadway improvements that included resurfacing and upgraded pedestrian access throughout the corridor. KEG's scope included roadway design, erosion and sediment control plans, maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans, utility coordination, and ADA design. During the project, KEG identified and redesigned six curb ramps to bring them up to current ADA standards, including creative solutions for challenging locations that required retaining walls and extended sidewalk improvements.
