I was inspired to write "Antwon" for many reasons that all resulted to "acceptance;" even from one's own parent. I witness too often when out in the community, a parent talking down to their child. Speaking to our children in a demeaning manner is something that my wife and I refuse to do in our household. Sadly to say, that's not every child's, nor an adult's story. If one can't feel accepted in their home, nor from this world, not even within their peer group, then what's the use?? That's "Antwon's" story.
