Today I was inspired to celebrate my dear friend's grand opening of her business: Arise Counseling and Psychotherapy Services LLC, located in TX. As one of her guests, I was honored to be a panel of great coaches and counselors selected to celebrate and showcase her talents. I had forgotten about my unique talents and was reminded that we all have something special and to continue posting as it has helped her and others.

Never give up on your dreams. Instead, surround yourself with people who can walk alongside you to help you reach your goals. As an Empowerment Strategist Life Coach, and Clinical Mental Health Therapist, I get caught up in helping my clients heal and restore and not push myself out of the box to achieve my dream.

It takes someone like my friend to remind me of my authenticity and genuineness. Thank you to Tamera Brown of Arise Counseling and Psychotherapy LLC and Tanya Bankston of Counseling Beyond Borders, that support me in every way to building my dream.

Don’t be afraid to become the best version of yourself. Step out, stand strong and achieve the dream, whatever that is, and own it, so that one day, you can look back and have no regrets. This time next year, I hope to open Counseling Your Heart and continue the journey of healing and restoring hearts. Thank you so much to my followers and clients for believing in me. Mental Health means meant to heal:

When I'm counseling clients, I'm transparent about my own journey and put myself in the client's shoes, and give my all in every session. I'm human first, then I am a therapist. When you look in the mirror, what do you see? If you don't see a positive reflection of yourself, it's time to change the narrative and work to change what you see. Anxiety and depression are on the rise, especially around the holidays. Check on someone you care about. You never know what a simple call or visit may mean to someone who need to know they are loved. Just a word of wisdom.

Today, I had the privilege to help pass out turkeys, care packages, and groceries to people in need, working alongside the United States Army, The Elite Women Organization, and Mommy and Me Caring Hands Organization at the Light Guard Armory. Let your hearts be filled with helping someone who needs a helping hand this Thanksgiving holiday.

As we look to the new year with a purpose, and a new set of goals, let your 2022 have meaning. How you choose to live this life now should be different in 2022. Release anxiety and depression by letting go of things and circumstances we have control to change. Become your cheerleader and believe in yourself in everything you do. Self-love and self-worth are essential. Begin with that in 2022.
