The Print Factory

Friends of the Print Factory:
We are ever so thankful for the support and enthusiasm we have received since launching our campaign to open a nonprofit bookstore and cultural space in Bellefonte, PA. We are excited to share an update about our progress: as of yesterday, demolition has begun at 130 S. Allegheny Street! Wheels are turning.

There is still much work to be done. Once our landlord completes the building updates, we can start outfitting the bookstore for our autumn launch date.

The Print Factory is a nonprofit antiracist, feminist, and queer-inclusive artist- and worker-run bookstore and cultural space. Our mission is to support the artistic and intellectual life of the local community by providing a safe and welcoming environment for creative cultural activity.

We are raising funds for our startup campaign and our first year’s operating budget. This includes:

* shelving materials, equipment, and furnishings
* stocking books
* rent, insurance, and utilities
* salary relief for our co-managers, Melissa and Angie
