This picture is still one of my absolute favorites. I can still feel the embarrassment and guilt in that moment of being the one needing help. I could not fix this problem on my own.
These women around us dropped their competition and ran to help start our truck. I think I knew 1 or 2 of them and they were all from different countries.

Raise a hand all you Mammas and rad Dad’s out there, finding a way to go after YOUR adventures and dreams with kids. Sometimes they go, sometimes they stay home and cheer you on, or, cry and beg you not to go.

Whether you’re starting a business, running one, going after a job you know is right for you, jetting across the world, or being home with them, our kids can handle our dreams ;)

Nope, it’s not easy and I make mistakes constantly. But, I never wanted them to hear the words “Well, I used to do _______ then we had you so we couldn’t.” (This does not apply to everyone, but this was me.)

It’s easy to make them a really good excuse to stay in our comfort zone. In fact, it’s praised in todays culture.

You know in your gut when you should take that risk and you may be surprised at just how much your kids look up to you for taking the leap ;)

Here’s to 2022. Whether your home, working, adventuring, raising kids, or not, listen to that gut of yours. I know for me, I’m a much better person for it.

Ever been to Baja?
Going to Baja last spring was a very big bucket list item for me as I had never been!
We ate tacos, camped on beaches, found some awesome trails, and even drove on some Baja 1000 tracks! (I did my best to channel my inner and 😂 (No I didn’t jump anything ;)
