Fireworks Safety Tips:

Know the rules: Check local regulations before lighting fireworks. Some areas prohibit them entirely during fire season.

Choose a safe location: Always use fireworks on a flat, hard surface away from dry grass, fields, or wooded areas.

Have water nearby: Keep a hose, bucket of water, or fire extinguisher within reach in case a fire starts.

Don’t relight duds: Wait 20 minutes, then soak them in water before discarding.

Avoid windy conditions: Never use fireworks when winds are strong enough to carry sparks into dry fuels.
