Please join us in welcoming Coach Tyler to the Independent Iron team!

“Hello!

My name is Tyler and I own and operate TNT Strength and Fitness. I’ve been coaching clients of all levels of fitness for the last 11 years.

I started out my career as a corrective exercise and rehab specialist then wanted to broaden my knowledge and skills set so I’ve added on general strength and conditioning, performance/athletic training, and tactical strength and conditioning certifications to my toolbox.

Most of my clients all wish to accomplish different goals in their health and fitness journeys. I work with people that range from elderly people that wish to keep their quality of life high and avoid being catastrophicly injured from falling, all the way up to champion strongman(woman) competitors, state record holding powerlifters and national qualifiing powerlifters. And just about everything in between.

Personally I’ve been a competitive powerlifter for many years and have been involved in athletics since I was 7 years old. Playing basketball, baseball, soccer, wrestling, tennis, and track and field. I still play high level tennis currently as it is my favorite sport in the world!”

“Hi everyone! It’s an honor to be featured on this page! I love training at Independent Iron it’s such a supportive, inclusive, and uplifting environment. I have been working with Bryan for a year now officially and have since fallen in love with powerlifting.

After I graduated from undergrad where I was golfing competitively I fell out of my routine of physical movement. Once I began my career after grad school I made a commitment to my mental health to prioritize movement as a form of self love. I’ve been consistently strength training for 4 years now! Living in a plus size body I rarely found people that looked like me represented in the gym but then I discovered powerlifting. I’m so glad I attended the Independent Iron/ Ironside Pride on the Platform event last year as I felt so supported, empowered, and uplifted no matter what my body looked like. Since then, I haven’t looked back and have crushed many goals I didn’t even know were possible with the support of my incredible coach Bryan.“
