321 Precision Conversions performs successful A321-200PCF V2500 ground vibration test
We have successfully completed a GVT (ground vibration test) on an A321 equipped with V2500 engines. This is a critical test that is used to measure the aircrafts behavior and assure that the modified aircraft will respond to various weather conditions. A321-200PCF freighters are already certified with CFM56 engines, however the certification of the V2500 will expand customer options for freighter conversions.
According to Evgeny Ivanov, our Director of Programs, “GVTs are a critical step to ensuring the safe operation of Precision Converted freighters. We’re excited to bring this additional engine option to our customers.”
