Christmas in Haiti used to be a time when culture, spirituality and friendship came together to create a unique experience. Christmas Eve was a day deeply rooted in the country’s traditions; an opportunity to bring friends together, share music, festive meals and celebrate together in a spirit of solidarity.

Nowadays, many Haitian children often go hungry. Some of them have not had the chance to attend school for months. The current situation has reduced the chances for Haitian kids to enjoy Christmas like in the past. Ncompass has been working with the most underserved youth to create a sense of normalcy.
