Halle recently attended SkillsUSA with Lamar Institute of Technology’s Respiratory Therapy program, and we are so proud of her 💙

During the competition, students are challenged with hands-on clinical scenarios that reflect real patient care. From taking vital signs and demonstrating proper safety techniques to responding to emergency situations, participants must think quickly, stay calm under pressure, and show both skill and compassion.

On top of that, Halle and her team won Silver in the Health Knowledge Bowl 🥈—a fast-paced competition that tests their understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and overall healthcare knowledge.

Halle represented Single Moms EmpowerEd so well, and this is such an exciting step toward her future in healthcare. Way to go, Halle! 🩺✨
