This Sunday, we begin a new summer sermon series through Genesis, Blessed to Be a Blessing. In Genesis 12:1–9, God calls Abram to step out in faith, not only to receive God’s blessing, but to become a blessing to the world. As we gather for worship and Holy Communion, we will consider where God may be calling us, both individually and as a church, to trust God’s grace and share God’s love with others.

Trinity is preparing now to help care for those impacted by storms and disaster. We invite you to join us by donating supplies and assembling UMCOR Cleaning Kits, Hygiene Kits, and Menstrual Hygiene Kits. In the coming weeks, we will be collecting donated items and completed kits. We also welcome monetary donations to help purchase supplies in bulk. This is a simple, practical way to serve others and be ready to respond when the need arises. You may visit the display in the narthex to see sample kits and to pick up a list to complete. There will be more details about supplies, drop-off opportunities, and kit assembly as we move closer to summer. Go to trinityumcbeaumont.org/prepare for lists and information.

This Sunday is Trinity Sunday, and at Trinity United Methodist Church we will ask a question rooted in both our name and our calling: "Why would a church name itself Trinity?" Using Psalm 8 and Matthew 28:16–20, we will reflect on what it means to be a people who honor the dignity of every person, follow the risen Christ into mission, and live in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Join us for worship at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate the God whose love sends us into the world.

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, the day we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. We are grateful to welcome Rev. Kyle Trembly as our guest preacher in worship at 10:30 am. Kyle serves as the pastor/director of the Wesley Foundation at Lamar University, helping college students grow in faith, community, and service. Join us as we give thanks for the Spirit who continues to breathe life into the church and send us into the world as witnesses of God’s love.
