1932 $10 Indian MS65+
With a mintage of over 4 million the 1932 $10 Indian is typically an easy example to find in grades up to and including 65. Once you get higher than that, as seen in the MS 65+ shown here, the populations drop dramatically.

1843 O Small Letters $5 Liberty New Orleans Hoard
What is a hoard coin you ask? Coin hoards are quite fascinating! Groups of coins buried or “hoarded” and later discovered are some of the most interesting types of coins to seek out. Think about it. Why did they bury them? What were they hiding from? Antique coins like this 1843 hold many secrets from our past. One thing that stands out about this particular coin is the fact that it’s called the New Orleans Hoard. Every coin discovered in this hoard was minted at the famous New Orleans Mint. The NOLA Mint struck coins between 1838 to 1861 then took a hiatus and returned to minting from 1879 to 1909. The 1843-O Small Letters has an original mintage of only 19,075 which is extremely low, can you imagine how few a hoard coin from this year truly is?

1879 $4 Stella Simpson Collection
The “Stella” (Latin for star) was only minted in 1879 and 1880. In 1879, members of Congress proposed a four-dollar coin to compete globally with similarly valued pieces, including the French 20 franc coin, the Spanish 20 pesetas, the Dutch and Austrian 8 florins and the Italian 20 lire.
The exact population of the 1879 Gilt Stella is unknown. Some say it’s about 10 to 15 pieces. These famous coins are far beyond the financial reach of most collectors. But that hasn’t stopped the Stella from becoming one of the most popular US coins ever produced.
A true rarity, this piece is nothing less than sensational.
