Breakneck Point Trail Runs

Beautiful day (and much needed after 2 years of rain!), thank you to all the runners, spectators, and volunteers who helped make this an amazing race!

Legend. This guy. Not just because Ivan has done every single Breakneck we've held (marathon distance, no less). Not just because he'll lap you if you happen to run into him xc skiing at Minnewaska. Not just because he once showed up 20 minutes late with two poodles to one of our preview runs and still managed to catch up and lead the front group (true story). But also because he helped me with one of the most important tasks of the race: unloading the beer kegs, carrying them like they were filled with helium. Which reminds me, we will once again be featuring the greatest beer in the Hudson Valley: Industrial Arts Brewing Company. If you live nearby, definitely check them out in Beacon or pick-up a 4-pack (or more) at your favorite beer store. And get ready to enjoy post-race!
