Mt. Diablo Unified School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Suleyma Moss as the new Principal at Riverview Middle School in Bay Point. Suleyma was a bilingual teacher for seven years and has served as an administrator for five years, including one year as vice principal at Riverview Middle School and four years as principal at Shore Acres Elementary. Her work as an educator has focused on serving students and creating equitable outcomes for them.

Suleyma earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Polytechnic University Pomona and her Master’s Degree from CSU East Bay. Originally from Southern California, she and her husband now live in Pittsburg with their three boys, ages 11, 7, and 2. When she’s not watching Cocomelon with her youngest or watching her two oldest play sports, Suleyma enjoys reading educational articles, hanging out at the beach and cooking. Please join us in welcoming Suleyma back to Riverview Middle School in her new leadership role!
