Meet Ellen! 🧡

Ellen is currently a Hydroprocessing Technical Lead with 13 years of experience.

She also recently joined the ACE Include & Retain Sub-Committee. She enjoys getting to network with other ACE members in the Baton Rouge area that she might not have had the opportunity to meet if it wasn’t for the ACE.

In her own words,
💬 “I think it is awesome to have different months dedicated to different Heritage / History. I continue to learn more about AAPI Heritage Month every year I am here; and take comfort to know that this celebration is meant to recognize the long history of AAPI people in the United States.”

🧠 Her advice to the next generation of STEM leaders?
Be resilient; everything is hard before it is easy.

🦺 Her favorite part about working at ExxonMobil Baton Rouge?
She enjoys the people she has met along the way. She has always felt welcomed by her team and been treated with respect.

🌳Outside of work, Ellen enjoys playing pickleball and visiting national parks.

Meet Jaishri! ❤️

Jaishri is currently a Machinery Engineer for Baton Rouge Polymers North (BRPN).

She also serves as the BRPN Rep for ACE, where she participates in and leads events, discussions, and initiatives that promote inclusion and professional growth. Through ACE, she has built meaningful connections across teams, strengthened her sense of belonging, and expanded her leadership and collaboration skills beyond her day-to-day role.

In her own words,
💬 “AAPI Heritage Month is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of the AAPI community. It encourages dialogue, learning, and greater understanding across communities.”

Stay curious, be adaptable, and never stop learning.

🦺 Her favorite part about working at ExxonMobil Baton Rouge?
She enjoys collaborating with talented colleagues and tackling meaningful, high-impact challenges together. She values the site’s focus on safety, innovation, and continuous learning, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

🎨 Outside of work, Jaishri enjoys arts and crafts as a form of creative expression and meditation, as well as trekking and reading mystery novels.

Honored to share that Baton Rouge Polymers North (BRPN) and the Baton Rouge Complex have been recognized among the very best in the U.S. refining and petrochemical industry, earning two of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers' (AFPM) most respected safety distinctions.

BRPN was honored with the Distinguished Safety Award (DSA) —a powerful testament to a deeply embedded culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence while the Complex achieved the prestigious AFPM Elite Gold Safety Award, placing it among the top five percent of AFPM member sites nationwide for exceptional, sustained performance across occupational and process safety.

Together, these awards underscore a shared commitment across the Baton
Rouge sites to safety excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
