LATAN’s Restoring Resilience group offers support for caregivers of family members with disabilities. Together, participants can connect with others who understand the caregiving journey while learning strategies to support emotional well-being, daily self-care, and resilience.

This group will focus on:
• Positive social connection
• Emotional support
• Self-care techniques
• Reducing stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms
• Exploring assistive devices that can help with caregiving tasks

The Louisiana Assistive Technology Access Network, or LATAN, supports people of all ages with disabilities and functional limitations across Louisiana. Through device demonstrations, equipment loans, training, funding guidance, technical assistance, and more, LATAN helps individuals, families, caregivers, and professionals explore tools that support independence at home, work, school, and in the community.

Assistive technology can include everything from mobility supports and communication devices to screen readers, adaptive computer tools, daily living aids, and other solutions that make everyday tasks more accessible.
