Meet Paul & Lindsay Dupre, the husband-and-wife superteam behind Elsie's Plate & Pie.

Yes, they've won all the awards. Best restaurant, best dessert, even receiving the ONLY Michelin Guide Recommendation in Baton Rouge.

What you may not know, is that Paul & Lindsay met at a party in high school, and they'll be celebrating their 26th anniversary this year!

Both of them went to art school; Paul for Studio Painting and Lindsay for photography, but as fate would have it they would use their skills to create one of Baton Rouge's most celebrated restaurants.

Paul says that one of Lindsay's superpowers (along with her empathy), is her amazing palette. I think we know where the amazing flavor at Elsie's comes from!

Next time you visit, consider trying Paul's favorite dish: the Natchitoches Meat Pie. Or Lindsay's favorite: the Coconut Cream Pie.
