Firmin Construction Corporation is a general contractor based in Baton Rouge, LA. We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and productive working environment for our employees. Role Description
This position is for a full-time on-site Industrial Carpenter. Most projects are 4-10s or 5-10s with occasional weekend work as required. You will be responsible for performing a variety of day-to-day tasks related to carpentry, such as Form work, both Symons forms and standard 2x forms, framing, finish carpentry, and using both power and hand tools. This role requires working on-site in Baton Rouge, LA and surrounding areas mostly South Louisiana. Hourly compensation based on knowledge provided in carpentry. 3% 401k match, Health insurance options available, PTO after one year of employment, and paid holidays.

Required Qualifications
-Carpentry, Framing, and Finish Carpentry skills
-Experience using power tools and hand tools
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-Knowledge of construction safety procedures and regulations
-Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Prior experience in construction or a similar industry is a plus
-This position does require TWIC, Drug screen, and all necessary hand tools to perform job duties
