As June comes to a close, we're recognizing one of our Corrosion Engineers, Jason Pugh!

Since joining GRSA in early 2023, Jason has played a key role in supporting our Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) program implementations, specializing in damage mechanism (DM) assessments. He has also earned his API 571 and API 580 certifications, further strengthening his expertise in corrosion and inspection.

Jason earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and has built experience as a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, an onsite Corrosion Engineer at a petroleum refinery, and in the natural gas pipeline industry with a focus on cathodic protection.

When asked what advice he'd give to those entering the field, Jason shared:

"Never stop learning. Treat every project as a chance to get better. Never pass up the mentorships and resources available to you—they won't always be there."

Outside of work, Jason enjoys running and coding. He's currently exploring AI to build new applications while balancing life as a proud new father. His long-term goal is to earn his PE license.

We’re excited to spotlight one of our growing team members: GRSA’s Electrical Engineer, Andrew Bienvenu!

He joined GRSA in February 2025 as an intern and is coming up on one year full-time this May. His path to engineering took him through Nunez Community College and Southeastern Louisiana University before completing his Electrical Engineering degree at LSU.

In his role, he supports the team by developing drawings, working through redlines, and assisting with design tasks as he continues to build his experience.

His inspiration for engineering started early—he was influenced by his grandparents’ work with NASA, which helped spark his interest in the field.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, and spending time with friends. His go-to genres? Classic rock and hip hop 🎶
