Team Update: Welcoming Chris Close to V. Graham

V. Graham LLC is pleased to welcome Chris Close as the newest Director on our team. Chris brings 20+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and strategic planning across complex organizations, along with hands-on small business experience. He most recently served as VP of Finance and SBU Finance Director at APTIM, where he partnered with executive leadership to drive budgeting, financial strategy, and performance reporting.

Throughout his career, Chris has led initiatives focused on profitability improvement, reporting transparency, and operational efficiency, while supporting strategic decision-making and strengthening financial processes. He previously held senior finance roles at Chicago Bridge & Iron and The Shaw Group.

Chris is a licensed CPA in Louisiana and holds an MBA from LSU and a Bachelor’s degree from Tulane University. Originally from England, he grew up in New Orleans and now lives in Baton Rouge, where he enjoys time with his family and staying active with his teenage son.

Vanessa Graham enjoyed a beautiful day at the LABI Foundation 2025 Golf Tournament. Vanessa, a LABI board member, had the privilege of playing the round with LABI Board Chairman, Tom Cox, Founder & Executive Chairman of Golfballs.com and their leadership team. It was a great time celebrating LABI's 50 years and supporting its mission to advance the state's economic competitiveness and opportunities.
