A big shoutout to Junior Girl Scout Troop 10590!

These creative scouts chose to beautify our Bird Spa & Bistro garden while working toward their Outdoor Art Explorer Badge. They added splashes of color by painting pots, bricks, and borders, turning the space into a bright and cheerful haven for our students and feathered friends alike.

📍 2026–2027: remaining on our current campus at 9880 Hyacinth Ave
📍 2027–2028 & 2028–2029: temporarily relocating to the former Kenilworth campus at 7660 Boone Ave
📍 2029–2030: Opening the doors to our brand-new Mayfair Lab campus back at 9880 Hyacinth Ave!

🥬 The Great Lettuce Crunch! 🥬

As part of our 2025 Fall Festival: A Recipe for Success, Mayfair Lab partnered with the Louisiana Seeds to Success program to celebrate Lettuce as our Harvest of the Month!

Students, faculty, and staff were invited to taste farm-fresh romaine lettuce served plain or with a tangy honey lemon vinaigrette. Everyone was encouraged to try it, then vote to let us know if they liked it or loved it!

Some of our tiger cubs tasted lettuce for the very first time, while others happily crunched away on one of their favorite foods.
