Walls Project

Communities grow stronger because of people who quietly dedicate themselves to serving others. ❤️
The 2026 Legacy Mixer celebrated those individuals whose leadership, compassion, and vision continue to shape the future of Dallas.
This year, we were honored to recognize Ms. Lyons as our Earth Day Legacy Awardee Honoree for her leadership in environmental stewardship and community engagement.
We proudly presented the 2026 Legacy Award to Chris Simmons, whose decades of service have transformed lives throughout South Dallas by expanding access to housing, education, meals, and essential community resources.
We also celebrated Dr. Harry Robinson, whose lifelong commitment to preserving African American history has enriched Dallas' cultural landscape and inspired generations of leaders.
The evening featured inspiring remarks from Professor Ron Dailey, live music by .Cyfa.Fix, exceptional cuisine from Blessed and Highly Flavored, hospitality from Dallas Yo Pours, and wine generously sponsored by .
One idea resonated throughout the evening: legacy is built through consistent service, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to creating opportunities for others.
Thank you to every guest, volunteer, partner, and sponsor who helped make this celebration possible. 🫱🏽🫲🏿
