Wishing my office ladies a truly Happy Mother’s Day. The qualities they bring to the team are surely extensions of their motherly strengths. We appreciate them every day.

As many of you may know, I am part of an organization - Hogs for the Cause - that delivers grants to families who have a child undergoing cancer (or any illness) treatment. The grants are to help ease some of the financial stress these families are under during an extremely difficult time. The team I am a part of fundraises all year in an effort to make an impact.

As a small business owner, I have the pleasure of supporting my community in various ways. This year I was one of the top sponsors for my team, Bark & Bite, to help us reach our goal. We raised over $225,000 - I can still hardly believe it - that will go directly to Hogs and to families. Blessed to be a part of a friend group who is so invested in this cause and in our community.

I’m proud to always support the St. George Fire Department. We provided food to all firefighters attending the LIFT conference today. And I couldn’t do it without the help of our guys at Pot and Paddle
