It was great to see another packed house at the 43rd Annual Sugarcane Field Day at the LSU AgCenter Sugar Research Station today. I always enjoy the opportunity to visit with Louisiana’s sugarcane producers and industry partners. Field days like these are a great way to share research, see new technology in action, and strengthen the partnerships that keep Louisiana agriculture moving forward. Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s event a success!

I enjoyed speaking yesterday at the H. Rouse Caffey Rice Research Station Field Day at the LSU AgCenter in Rayne. One of the things I appreciate most about field days is the opportunity to bring together producers, researchers and industry partners to share ideas and the latest innovations that help keep Louisiana’s agriculture and forestry sectors strong. Thank you to the LSU AgCenter for hosting another excellent event and to everyone who came out.
