Our friends at Baton Rouge Green and LSU AgCenter have partnered with Project Learning Tree to offer a FREE professional development workshop for classroom teachers, STEM educators, agricultural science instructors, and school administrators who are interested in expanding environmental literacy opportunities for students.

The workshop will be held at Tickfaw State Park from July 20–23. There is no cost to attend. Complimentary lodging is available for participants, and all meals will be provided.

Participants will receive:
• Hands-on experience with Project Learning Tree (PLT) curriculum
• Classroom-ready lessons aligned with Louisiana academic standards
• Outdoor teaching strategies that increase student engagement
• Opportunities to network with educators from across the region
• Continued access to PLT resources and ongoing support

Recreation is about making a positive impact on participants and our community and this camp does both!
