Junior Achievement Greater Baton Rouge

It was a fantastic day with Lake Elementary Lion's Pride, Bluff Middle School and Scotlandville Pre-Engineering Magnet Academy 6th grade students at the first JA Trades event, hosted by Pelican Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors. Sponsored by Louisiana Chemistry Association, Methanex Geismar, Shintech Louisiana, LLC, Turner Industries, and REV The students got to see firsthand many of the trade careers we rely on every day — from hands‑on demonstrations to real conversations with industry professionals. Experiences like JA Trades open eyes, spark interests, and show students that skilled careers are powerful pathways to success. We’re grateful for the partners who made this day possible!
