There are moments in life that matter.
Moments where simply showing up can mean everything.
On April 11th, our Veterans will be arriving through the Baton Rouge Airport — and we have the opportunity to fill that space with gratitude, pride, and love.
Some of these men and women left quietly.
Some returned without fanfare.
Many carried burdens we will never fully understand.
This time… they won’t walk through those doors alone.
Let’s line the airport halls with cheers.
Let’s wave flags high.
Let’s hold signs that say “Welcome Home” & "Thank You"
Let’s wear red, white, and blue so boldly that they feel our appreciation before they even hear it.
Bring your children.
Bring your family.
Bring your heart.
When they step off that plane, they deserve to see a community standing for them — because they stood for us.
