When you first arrive at your BCT location you will in process into the reception battalion. Usually soldiers are members of a reception battalion for 1 week known as “0 Week”. During this week soldiers complete administrative actions and simple things such as medical examinations, setting up pay, and initial issue of equipment. This can be a very stressful part of BCT because this is also when you are first introduced to your Drill Sergeants! What are you looking forward to during Week 0?
