Nyles Walker is one of our amazing Academic Coaches here at CAS!

Nyles earned his undergraduate degree from LSU, and his graduate degree from LSU Shreveport.

His favorite class in undergrad was Calculus I, and in grad school was Biochemistry. His go-to study spot on campus are the study rooms in the library.

Nyles says, "My favorite part of academic coaching is helping students realize that they are capable to move mountains; I love when they have that eureka moment after coaching."

Amelia Vidrine is one the phenomenal CAS Academic Coaches!

Amelia earned her undergraduate degree from LSU and is currently pursuing her graduate degree.

Amelia has many favorite fun things about LSU, including, "Tiger Stadium, Gymnastics Meets, and the Bell Tower playing the Alma Mater at noon."

Her favorite thing about academic coaching is, "Seeing the students that I meet with go on to be successful in their courses!! More importantly, seeing them be happy and proud of themselves for that growth."

We're spotlighting Academic Coach Elizabeth Murray!

Elizabeth is from Gonzales, Louisiana, and earned her undergraduate degree from Southeastern University.

Her favorite thing about LSU is the school spirit and the inclusivity. If she were a student, her go-to study spots would be the upper floors of the LSU Library, or the CAS Study Space (in Coates B-31).

Elizabeth's favorite thing about being an academic coach is, "Being able to focus on helping students 1:1 and personalizing their journey." Her tip for students is, "College is customizable. Make it work for you to become the best professional you can be."
