As we all start the clean-up process after this most recent storm, the Team Automotive Group is here to help you! Through
our experiences in past severe weather events, Team has put together this list of 4 simple steps to take if your vehicle was
impacted by storm waters:

1) Do not start your vehicle! Attempting to crank it will only cause further damage if the engine has been flooded. Just
open the vehicle doors, and leave the windows down to let your vehicle dry out.
2) Call your insurance agent/company and start the claims process. You can expect to receive full NADA retail value
for your vehicle plus compensation for tax, title, and license if it's deemed a total loss. Your adjuster will likely want to see
the vehicle in the location it flooded.
3) If your vehicle is declared a total loss AND you have GAP insurance, call the provider and start that claims process.
They will have a list of information they will need to fulfill the claim. If you purchased a vehicle from Team and are unsure if
you have GAP insurance or need your documents, please give us a call.
4) Head to Team or visit any of our websites to start the process of replacing your vehicle. None of our new or used
inventory was impacted by the storm. Please be sure to bring all of your insurance information with you.
