In June 2024, Impact Nurse Consulting, partnered with Southern University, launching the transformative Love Heals the Boot initiative, offering free medical, dental, and vision clinics to underserved communities across Baton Rouge, Opelousas, Alexandria, and Shreveport, Louisiana. This powerful collaboration addressed critical healthcare gaps, serving over 1,757 patients and delivering more than $1.85 million in essential healthcare services.

From dental cleanings and extractions to vision exams and providing prescription glasses, the dedicated team of healthcare professionals brought not only immediate relief but also connected individuals to long-term care solutions. By working with 80 local organizations, they ensured patients received the follow-up care they needed beyond the event, promoting lasting health.

Love Heals the Boot is a testament to what happens when we prioritize healthcare equity, and the collaboration between Impact Nurse Consulting* and Southern University exemplifies the power of community partnerships in changing lives.
