Build. Serve. Sustain.
“Preparation speaks louder than promises.”
Day One what actually happens.
First 30 days: SUYAN reactivated and engaged.
First 60 days: Comprehensive National Chapter Audit.
First 91 days: University-Alumni Alignment Council convened. This is the council that brings SUAF and the University administration into a documented, coordinated partnership, and I’ve sat at that table before, as a Student Member of the SU Board of Supervisors. I know how to make it work.
First 91 days: Corporate Advisory Board instituted.
First year: Alumni Scholarship Sustainability Fund launched. Alumni Digital Engagement Platform phased in. Federation Operations Playbook published and distributed.
This is what preparation looks like. The work begins the moment the oath is taken.
A Sunday note, with the ballot open and 2 full days of voting behind us.
If you are reading this and have not voted yet, read the Playbook before you do.
Four cornerstones of SUstainability. Sixteen detailed initiatives. Each has a five-step implementation plan. Published before the ballot ever opened.
No other candidate has put this level of preparation on the table. You deserve to see the plan before you are asked to vote for it.

"When we talk about sustainability, we are not talking about a slogan. We are talking about structure, continuity, and making sure Southern never has to start over."
Southern University has never thrived by accident. It has thrived because every generation made a deliberate decision to build, to serve, and to protect the legacy of resilience and excellence entrusted to them. Now, it is our turn.
I am proud to share the core philosophy driving our entire movement: The SUstainability Framework.
To ensure that Southern grows stronger tomorrow, we must build wisely today by focusing on four critical cornerstones:
🤝 Sustain Alumni Engagement: We must move beyond event-driven activities to build year-round engagement, strong chapters, and meaningful ways for alumni to connect and contribute at every stage of life.
🎓 Sustain Student Success: Sustainability for our students is bigger than just access it is about preparation, mentorship, and opportunity. When alumni stay engaged, students gain the scholarships, internships, and career pathways they need so they never stand alone.
🏢 Sustain Institutional Trust & Partnerships: Trust is not built in speeches; it is built through consistent communication and follow-through. We will align with University priorities so our partners can invest in our future with absolute confidence.
⚙️ Sustain Leadership & Systems: Strong organizations depend on systems, not personalities. We will build leadership pipelines, shared tools, and clear transition structures so our momentum never disappears when leadership changes.
Sustainability is our commitment to ensure that chapters do not burn out, students do not fall through the cracks, and our Federation never has to start over.

Southern Homecoming is legendary. The tailgates. The band. The culture. But for too many years, one part of Southern’s academic excellence went under the radar: the academic side.
I created the SU Academic Homecoming and helped implement it as it is today. A full celebration of Southern’s scholars, researchers, academic alumni, and intellectual achievement, sitting alongside the cultural Homecoming we already love.

Southern’s band shakes the earth. Our scholars are changing the world. Both deserve to be celebrated with equal pride, and on my watch, they will be.
