Through The Way to Work, she connects participants with the resources, support, and transportation options they need to get to work and build a brighter future.

Commuter Krewe July Spotlight of the Month

Commuter Krewe is proud to recognize Ms. Denise Hursey, Manager of The Way to Work at HOPE Ministries, as our July Spotlight of the Month!

Ms. Hursey has been a tremendous partner in helping connect individuals with transportation solutions that support employment success. Recognizing that transportation is one of the biggest barriers facing job seekers, she has worked closely with the Commuter Krewe to ensure participants in HOPE Ministries' The Way to Work program learn about ridesharing, commuter incentives, Emergency Ride Home, and other valuable commuting resources.

Her dedication to workforce development, community collaboration, and empowering individuals to achieve long term success has made a meaningful impact throughout the Capital Region.

Our neighbors are getting ready to head back to school, but some families are still missing the basic supplies their children need to succeed.

Our friends at HOPE Ministries' Client Choice Food Pantry are in the final stretch of their school supply drive for 50 local children, and they still need a few more items to complete every backpack.
