Live with Confidence
Romans 8:28 The Voice
We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.

If you are a Christian you should live with confidence. Confidence that the Lord hears you and answers your prayers (1 John 5:14). Confidence that He will finish what He started in us and for us (Philippians 1:6), and confidence that He will cause things to work out for our good. You can’t live this life in Christ if you don’t have confidence. Confidence is just the result of your faith in His Word. When you are confident, you know that you know and nothing can persuade you of anything else.

How do you get to a place of confidence? Well, first you have to know what the Word says. Then you have to live that Word, and then you have to trust the God of that Word. When you know what the Word says, living it is just an act of love. Because you love God you keep His commandments, and because you know God loves you, you trust Him to watch over His word and perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12). So yes, we can be confident that God will cause everything to work out for our good because “we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.”

Holy Spirit, help me to live in this place of confidence. Help me to know Your Word, live Your Word, and trust You to perform Your Word. Thank You for giving me such wonderful promises. I trust You to bring good to every area of my life. In Jesus’ Name…
