Dear Fantastic Folks,

Today is the day. The turkey-filled extravaganza that is Thanksgiving is here, and we wanted to drop you a note filled with understanding, support, and a sprinkle of humor for those with pint-sized (or quart-sized) picky eaters.

Firstly, let’s all take a collective deep breath. Thanksgiving can be a whirlwind of sights, sounds, and smells that would make even the bravest food adventurer a little hesitant. But fear not, you’re not alone in this culinary adventure!

Now, here’s the scoop: it’s totally okay if your kiddo decides that Thanksgiving is a “just eat bread” kind of day (or crackers or Mac and Cheese or Veggie straws– you get the drift). Thanksgiving should be about joy, family, and giving thanks, not a battleground for broccoli.

So, if dear Aunt Carol becomes the green bean ambassador, gently let her know that today is officially declared a day of culinary chill, as per your feeding therapist’s expert advice. Feel free to playfully tell her you have a “permission slip” to keep things stress-free and tasty.

Today we’re celebrating someone who is truly essential to our team. Kirsten brings steadiness, kindness, and a level of clinical expertise that spans every stage of development from infant feeding and early language to speech sound disorders and orofacial myofunctional disorders. She is consistently thorough and thoughtful.

Kirsten is always on the move (we’re still not convinced she stops long enough to eat lunch), usually with a coffee in hand, and she keeps us up to date on all the latest Taylor Swift news. Taylor Fridays on Alexa wouldn’t be the same without her! She is reliable, skilled, and someone families and coworkers instantly trust.

We’re grateful for the way she shows up every single day and for the impact she makes on her patients and our team.
