German photographer Christian Vieler captures the hilarious moments when dogs try to catch treats mid-air.

Using a portable flash and a shutter speed of 1/8000th of a second, he began by photographing his Labrador retriever, Lotte, as she leaped eagerly for treats.

What started as a simple experiment became the viral photo series "Dogs Catching Treats," which later inspired his book Treat! and an upcoming follow-up release.
