One of the most important things I’ve learned is that some of the best relationships don’t start in the same room.
A few years ago, these were just names on a screen. Today, they’re people who’ve encouraged me, challenged me, celebrated me, opened doors for me, and reminded me that community can find you in unexpected places.
I recently spoke about the power of connection, and one thing I shared is this: Just because a connection starts online doesn’t mean it has to stay there.
As moms, it’s easy to convince ourselves we don’t have time for friendships or that we’re supposed to do everything alone. But motherhood doesn’t mean giving up the parts of you that crave community, laughter, support, and genuine relationships.
These friendships have poured into me in different seasons of my life, and I’m better because of them.
(P.S. I know I’m missing people… y’all know I have 47,000 pictures and couldn’t find them all 😂.)

Somehow my son found my snacks, ate them, hid what was left, and then looked at me like I was being selfish.
His response?
“They’re our snacks.”

Motherhood is one of the biggest parts of who I am, but it isn’t the only part of who I am.
You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to feel guilty for having fun.
And you don’t stop deserving joy the moment you become a mom.

Travel has taught me that the best memories are rarely the ones you plan. They’re the conversations, wrong turns, unexpected views, and quiet moments in between. Grateful for every stamp in my passport and every random clip in my camera roll.
