Over the weekend, CHS hosted the 19th Annual Alumni Fishing Rodeo! CHS faculty, alumni, family and friends joined us for two days of fishing, food, and fellowship. Last week 14 students spent their time in Marion, North Carolina, a town that was devastated by Hurricane Helene. They were able to install drywall in a home that had to be completely rebuilt, organize and clean out a community garden at the local men’s shelter, add fresh paint to rooms at the local women’s shelter, and clean up trash at Lake James. We are proud of these young men and their hard work!
