The 77th Washington Mardi Gras Celebration was held a few weeks ago! Our Founding Member and Namesake Senator Russell Long created the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians in 1957 and expanded the Washington Mardi Gras event. Our Attorneys Mike McKay and Jamie Watts attended the celebration to carry on the Long Law Firm tradition 🎭 🎺

One of LLF’s founders, Mike Patterson, proudly introduced attorneys Shannon Talamo and Maddie Diez to the BR Bar at the Baton Rouge Bar Association 2026 Opening of Court and Memorial Ceremony. Congrats to Shannon, Maddie and all of the new Baton Rouge lawyers.

Over the weekend, Long Law Firm sponsored, and one of our staff members participated in, a pickleball tournament fundraiser for St. Michael the Archangel High School. LLF team member Shelley Rogillio played ladies doubles with Jody Rodriguez and they won third place! She also played mixed doubles with Glenn Robertson. Shelley was supported by several LLF cheerleaders.
