Melissa Courtney is the Claims Specialist for Legacy Management Group and Agentive Healthcare Consulting. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 20 years of Long-Term Care setting experience. She has been working as a nurse consultant for Agentive Healthcare since 2009.

She assists Long-Term Care facilities with Medicare and Medicare Advantage Groups’ ADR’s (Additional Development Requests) and claim denials by organizing, reviewing, and preparing required documents for review. She has an overall general knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis coding, MDS coding, Case Mix documentation requirements, and SNF Regulations.

She is passionate in her nursing profession and is focused on providing quality support and service to others in the continuing progress of the Long-Term Care industry.
