A kind young woman was walking down a busy street when a shabby-looking old man begged, “Please help me with some money. I’m starving.” Without hesitation, she gave him some cash.

The old man smiled warmly. “Your heart is pure. Take this perfume. Spray it on yourself, and men will favor you. Whatever amount you ask for, they’ll gladly give it.”

Shocked, she whispered, “How did you know men always use me and leave me?”

He simply smiled. “Now your kindness will be remembered.”

Curious, she sprayed the perfume. Instantly, luxury cars screeched to a stop. Wealthy young men rushed toward her, holding flowers, gifts, and bundles of cash, all begging for her attention.

Terrified by the overwhelming crowd, she turned and ran, shouting, “Please! Please! I won’t use it again!” as everyone chased after her.

I spent $250 on thirty-three pounds of beef for our family barbecue.

My daughter-in-law arrived with her mother carrying nothing but empty food containers.

Then my son started filling them with the expensive meat I'd paid for.

The entire backyard went silent when I walked over and said three words:

A soaked little boy stumbled into my struggling Chicago diner during a violent storm.

An hour later, three black SUVs stopped outside.

A man stepped in, his eyes fixed on the boy.

A poorly dressed young man stepped into an expensive restaurant and sat quietly by the window.

The floor manager marched over angrily.

Manager: "This place is for paying customers. Leave before security removes you."

The young man looked up calmly.

Young Man: "Interesting. And your position here is?"

Manager: "I'm the person in charge."

He gave a slight smile.

Young Man: "Not anymore. I own this restaurant."

At that moment, an employee hurried over.

Employee: "Mr. Harrison! We weren't expecting your visit today!"

The young man turned toward the stunned employee.

Young Man: "Starting today, you're managing this branch. Her employment ends now."

The manager stood speechless as the entire restaurant fell silent.
