I get asked about "Peptides" almost daily, typically BPC-157 and TB-500. I think there is potential with these medications and hopefully they will be FDA approved soon, but right now THEY ARE NOT LEGAL TO PRODUCE, PRESCRIBE, DISPENSE, etc. If you're using them they are coming from a supplier and distributer who is knowingly doing something illegal.

It's not a question of are these medications safe or effective. It's that there is an approval process by the FDA that should be completed. It's not a suggestion, it's the law. The approval process has been expedited and we will hopefully have some guidance in a few months.

The question I would ask is how trustworthy is the person supplying medication labeled "Not for human or animal use" and telling patients that's not a big deal. Is it real, is it contaminated, past it's use date? What else are they willing to do to cut corners?
