"I come from a long line of criminals, addicts, and narcissistic beings on my mother’s and father’s side of the family. Generational trauma, poverty, and genetic, mental illness sadly plagued both sides. The most traumatic time I can recall in the Hoffman Street Hell was when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and my father with bipolar disorder. My parents were already rowdy substance abusers, which added fire to fuel."
