Hair Wellness Center was founded and inspired by Tara Rheubottom PA-C, who’s been continuously practicing cosmetic and general dermatology for over 23 years and currently practices at LA Dermatology Associates in Baton Rouge, LA. She diagnoses and treats all types of skin, hair and nail conditions and has a passion specifically for scalp and hair disorders and disease. Tara Rheubottom graduated magna cm laude from the University of Texas in 1996 and earned her graduate degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2000. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated ®️- Gamma Eta Omega Chapter.
She is a member of the Skin of Color Society, Cicatricial Alopecia Research Foundation, Jack and Jill of America Baton Rouge Chapter, Baton Rouge Symphony League and National Charity League River Road Chapter.
