We make a point of driving at least a few times a week. One of the things we enjoy doing is taking a team to a destination - sometimes it's to grab lunch from the Greek place down the road, sometimes it's to get ice cream, and sometimes, it's to grab dinner from Point Phillips Hotel.
As we sat there in their parking lot last summer, eating delicious BBQ, I suggested that this would be a marketable experience. Who wouldn't want to have a sunset wagon ride to a BBQ dinner?
So, Korie met with Point Phillips Hotel...and they loved the idea!
Last night was the maiden voyage, and it was a hit. Perfect evening, beautiful skies, a beautiful team of horses, a delicious dinner.
This will be a Thursday night occurrence going forward. While I won't be there for all of them, I will be the driver on some of them (dates to be determined shortly). And, if there is enough interest, there is talk of adding another team with a private couples carriage.
