Marcia's Poem of the week July 3, 2025 Luke 15:10 “In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”

REPENT

I went to see for myself dear friend,
And made up my own mind too,
I let God speak to my heart to mend,
And show me what His love could do.

I found Him there in His Glory,
And received all my heart could hold,
His is the only true love story,
That's forever worth being told.

Come and see for yourself dear friend,
And you'll never be the same,
It is on the Lord You can depend,
When it's the Lord you acclaim.

So as you follow in His ways,
You will live full within His grace,
There He'll keep you secure always,
And surround you with sacred space.

Indeed when you come you'll find,
The desire to know even more,
Once truth opens your heart and mind,
You'll follow Him to worship and adore.

JOY

The Lord is the good shepherd,
Actively seeking the lost,
No one is insignificant ever,
For He has paid the cost.

The Lord has an army in Heaven,
Many in number, they say
They watch over the things that happen,,
And care for God's people everyday.

For your life is precious and priceless,
You are a treasure of the Lord,
You need not ever feel worthless,
In this massive unfeeling World.

For you cause all heaven to rejoice,
When you go to God in prayer,
He always listens for your voice,
And comes with much love to share.
