What are you doing this summer? One option, that I hope you know about, is QuarkNet. Here, a group of QuarkNet students poses for me during a tour of the DZero detector at Fermilab. SMP students also get to tour DZero - it is rather awesome.
We are finalizing the schedule and the logistics for the coming Fall session of SMP.
The application period starts on August 1st.

Today was Graduation Day for Fermilab Saturday Morning Physics. Fermilab director Nigel Lockyer, right there in the middle, handed out the graduation certificates..
