We enjoyed the last bit of summer at Graveyard Fields!

The Graveyard Fields hike displays views of stunning waterfalls, meanders through wildflowers and wild blueberry fields, and showcases beautiful views just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We are delighted to introduce the newest member of our team, Ramsee Boone, an accomplished and versatile educator with a deep commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering holistic development. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling, Ramsee brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our educational community.

Ramsee's expertise spans a variety of subjects, including social studies, language arts, and music, reflecting her diverse academic background and creative insight. Her approach focuses on meeting students at their individual learning levels, tailoring lessons to their specific needs, and encouraging personal growth. Beyond academics, Ramsee is deeply invested in students' social and emotional well-being, equipping them with the essential skills to navigate life's challenges confidently and resiliently.

A 9-12 month gap year can allow students to work on their relationship with themselves and experience positive interactions with teachers, clinical staff, and peers. Equinox's summer camp style setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains provides the perfect environment for students to get back on track with their therapy, academics, and recreational activities.
