Everyone at Logan's Brook wants to congratulate Jonesie, who last week was honored as a recipient of one of the USHJA's lifetime achievement awards. The Jane Marshall Dillon Award has been created to recognize equestrians of all professions who have devoted their lives to teaching and mentoring riders beginning their education in the hunter/jumper discipline. These teachers have been instrumental in building future horsemen by instructing their students in proper horsemanship, training and riding while instilling in them the principles of integrity, empathy for the horse and a strong work ethic. The winners will have their name placed on the Jane Marshall Dillon Perpetual Trophy, which will reside in the USHJA headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.

We had a great day at our on site jumping clinic with Debbie Haimowitz! We focused on straightness and rideability and the horses and kids were great! Our perfect horses pictured include Sybille on Milo, Claudia on Chalan, Molly on Rob Roy, Elizabeth on Cheyenne, Claudia on Talek and Kate on Milady.
Thank you to our long time boarder Dr. Laura Palmer for coming to watch and brining the kids lemonade and treats as she has been doing for many years!
